Friday night I decided to pull myself away from my studies and get out. The air is finally drying up and cooling off so it was a beautiful night to be out. Conrad and I stopped by Starbucks to sit out and take cliche pictures of Starbucks cups but as soon as we got there we were met with the worst smell of sewer water we've ever encountered so we hauled ass downtown to see what was goin on. There were actually people filling the sidewalks due to some repeat of a festival going on at the pier. So we sat and people watched and clicked the camera randomly for some simple entertainment. I enjoy nights of aimless driving with the windows down, Underoath turned all the way up, and akward stammers from strangers overwhelmed with OCD.

I know some may want to kill me but the thing is I've started school last month and it's pretty much taking over my fun time! I don't want to end the blog though so I will do whatever I can to get out and take some photos this weekend. I thank all you for stickin around, you make it worth while!

Besides a constant flow of homework and studying, I have no exciting news, except I've sort of decided to try to grow my hair out...I'm talkin all the way out. If that possible, cause at this point it seems not. Anyways, I just wanted to post some really awesome photos I came across since I have none myself.

I know you all have probably been cussing out my blog because I haven't had much newness around in a while. Well it's too damn hot to go outside for one second let alone try to take photos. But I got my sorry ass out this weekend for a few minutes, and maybe I'll even stay out a little longer this weekend for some more. I really wish the weather would take it ease and stop drenching us with humidity. That's what I get for livin in Florida. School starts next Monday...excited to start occupying my brain with knowledge again, not so excited about the workload expected to come. Time to buckle down.

Rag n bone. Seems to be the first phrase that comes to mind when I wear this new get up. No, of course not the brand, but you get the picture. While I was in NYC I came across a store in Soho I had yet to discover in past visits that I have completely fallen obsessed with. All Saints. Perfectly grunge I will say. I'm pretty sure as soon as I stepped inside the store I immediately shifted style preference to everything that draped across a hanger and sat on a shelf here. My eyes now only latch onto anything apocalyptic-like when browsing shops. My feet will be planted in these boots for all eternity as far as I can tell at this point. I think this also may have something to do with the awe inspiring end-of-the-world ensemble that Mila Kunis struts around in her recent movie The Book of Eli. Just saw it, you have to know what I'm talking about. No one should be able to look that cool at the end of the world.

I have partaken in my yearly ritual. New York City. God, there is just something infatuating about that smelly, dirty city. Maybe it's the hellish cabbies running eachother off the road, or the addictive aroma of honey roasted peanuts on the sidewalk. I dunno but it's fucking special. What I do know though is I bought way too much shit and I now officially have no place to put everything. Must find more closet space.

I can't stay out of Zara. I haven't been in a while and my curiosity finally got the best of me so I made a little visit. I told Conrad I wouldn't buy anything unless I found white shorts...I guess that includes a cut off tee with an amazing horse on it. Come on, anything with an awesome lookin horse on it does not stay in the store when I find it. Love it.

NYC in a month. Odors of urine and taxi fumes only get away with it in the city. Oh what love.

The summer heat leaves me to only wanting to wear the least amount of clothing to be acceptable outside the house. I mean if I could I would wear swimwear everywhere I go. I'm pretty sure this new Aldo wedges are now my preferred pair of heels sittin in my closet. I can prance to the end of the Earth in these babies.

I have to tell you all, I have definite plans to be in NYC for a few days for the 4th of July. I can't be any more excited than I am now. This will be my 6th trip and the city is better each time I visit it!

Good lord, I'm finally back! With being in Kentucky for a week and cramming for chemistry finals, I just couldn't find the time to post. But I'm free of school until August and I can't wait to do whatever I feel like doing. Oh and I did just have my 21st birthday during my absence, now I just don't want to grow any older. Just stop here please. Moving on, I've now decided I want to grow my hair back out to what I had before, about chin length. Yes, I did just recently cut it all off, but that's just what I do, change my hair constantly, I have to stay entertained. The only problem is, I need to find a new hair stylist because I'm not very happy with my current one. I've been with her for 3 years and she was the one who cut all of my long hair off, but lately she's just been gettin it all wrong, mostly color. I hate searching for new hair stylists. Oh what fun. Anywho, I'm glad to be back and I got all the time in the world!

Yes, I have been M.I.A. for a little while but for good reasons. I just had all 4 wisdom teeth taken out and I wasn't one of the lucky ones that was all better the next day. Nope, I continued my drugs for several days with a side of motion sickness. Yuck. But I'm up and running now. Although I will be headin for the hills in about a week. I'll be spending some days with my family in Kentucky and riding my horse. Can't wait to get away and slip into the relaxed and peaceful flower-filled mountains.

The weather is finally transforming from the gray blanket of cold to sunny warmth and I think it's actually going to stay. We did some exploring downtown since we don't make it down there often, and devoured some delicious sloppy greasy pizza. Nothing like a day with no plans but to just take a walkabout. I just bought these shoes from Aldo on Saturday. I never buy shoes from Aldo because they usually don't fit my feet the way they should, but these fit great. They are the most comfortable shoes, I'll definitely be wearing these all summer.
I'm praying the sun stays around, I'm planning on finally throwing on the swimsuit and doing some basking, I can't stand looking like a ghost floating everywhere. Nothing feels better than getting some vitamin D when you've been deprived of sun soaking for months. Summer bronze glow, here I come.

We can all see I have short and scrawny legs, making it a drag to have to shop for shorts and pants. In my most recent raiding of Zara, I found the perfect pair of shorts. They are a bit baggy so I guess you can call them boyfriend shorts, although I hope to never see my boyfriend in shorts like these. I love these shorts so much that the next day I went back and bought another pair. I know I'll wear them down to nothing. I also scooped up an awesome pair of skinny military green cargo pants. Don't worry, you'll be seeing them real soon. And yes, this Zara shirt is my new favorite tee. Holes are my latest obsession. It may be possible that I'll be turning into Edward Scissor Hands soon enough.

So Saturday I had an awesome experience meeting Steve Madden at my local Dillards. What a cool man! There were hundreds of girls waiting in line to get their photo taken with the genius behind the shoes, of course I had to be there. Luckily, I was like #45 in line so I didn't have to stand around forever, even though it was very entertaining with the DJ blasting music and a very gorgeous Julissa Bermudez bouncing around in her cute Spring-ready dress and yellow pumps. She knew immediately that I had on a Zara shirt. Thumbs up Julissa! They gave out shirts which are pretty cute and he signed it reading "Be where your feet are". There also was a raffle drawing going on every 15 minutes to win a free pair of Steve Madden shoes...of course I didn't win damnit! Oh well. The picture's pretty cool.

School and my surprisingly awesome study skills have been swallowing me whole lately, so I will apologize up front for the lack of posts. This weekend, the enticing sun was beckoning us to get out of the house and stand underneath it. The railroad workers had been dislodging and hammering the planks underneath the tracks for a few days and apparently placed them all along the side so we decided to play in the dirt and rocks. Not long after some clicking of the camera, a loud rustling emitted from the bushes about 15 feet away. Let me tell ya, I don't know what was in there, but it was something big and something that didn't like to sit still. Perhaps it was a gator since we were nearly in a small swamp a nasty water, or maybe it was a cute innocent bunny. We didn't really feel like finding this out. So we left. With grease and dirt staining my bottom.

For good ole' V-Day, Conrad snuck me down to the beach to casualy stroll around the beach and take in the newly remodeled beach walk and brand new Hyatt hotel. This stroll then morphed into a romantic and giggle-filled dinner at our all time favorite restaurant for teriyaki steak and wasabi mashed potatoes. After dinner we made our way home after nearly hitting 30 scientologists with the car at one cross walk.

As for the clothing, I didn't expect it to be nearly as cold as it was that night down by the water. Good thing I wore the scarf. I just recently added this white dress to my mounding collection, I'm pretty sure I'll be wearing it hundreds of times this summer. Nothing better than a lightweight, flowy white dress in 100% humidity.

I popped into Zara this weekend to take a peek at some of their incoming spring collection, found this shirt, fell in love with the delicate material, and made my purchase. The weatherman called for a warm sunny day, but of course he was wrong and it ended up staying under 60 degrees, but that didnt stop me from wearing the ultra thin, sandy hued top of my spring dreams.

I also aquired a couple of new dresses from Forever 21 in preparation for summer. Now if only the sun would work a little harder to warm us up so we can start wearing less clothing.

The cold air and rain decided to leave Florida for the weekend which means we had to be outdoors. We took a short trip down to the beach for lunch and a little walk around town to soak up some of the delicately warm sunshine. Let me tell you though, the wind was absolutly powerful. I'm pretty sure my Frankenstein shoes were the one thing keeping my skinny ass anchored to the ground. I stayed extra casual for the beach with my boyfriend tee and some shorts. I'm pretty sure I got a couple of double takes with the heels, but it's not like I went in the sand. Sillies. I'm thinkin Spring might arrive a little early for us, but it might be too early to judge. Not looking forward to reunite with humidity.

A screamimg doorbell, a thud on my front poorch, and a nasty cough of a large engine shifting through gears, this only means one thing..the nice FedEx man has finally brought me my highly anticipated DV Marley wedges! You can't even imagine how excited I was. I pretty much looked like a child on Christmas morning. I ripped that box open with tiger-like instincts and slide those puppies one and pranced around all day in my house with The Eagles blasting Those Shoes. My dad decided to dub them Frankenstein shoes, he coudldn't believe what I was wearing on my feet. That makes them even better.

For those of you that live in the UK, I thought I would share an awesome competition for you all. It's the Americas Next Top Model Challenge. Every week there is a new challenege given for a pose you must try your best at. Every week judges will choose one winner who will receive money to spend at ASOS and will have their entry aired on the LIVING channel after the following weeks ANTM episode. There is also a grand prize winner who will win their own ANTM styled photoshoot! I suggest you get going because they just started week 2!

They were calling for possible snow in Florida Saturday morning, and I prayed all Friday that it would make it to Tampa (I've never seen snow). Of course the damn snow didn't make it my way. It snowed about an hour north of me, enough to make a tiny little snowman. I honestly almost cried haha. But this weekend was extra icey cold and a big gray blanket of swirly clouds hoovered over our heads. They say your heat escapes through your head so I thought it would be a good time to throw on a hat, and a cute one with a fuzzy little ball at that. Black is one of my favorite colors to wear because it's so easy and complimenting, so I went with wearing all black, Can't go wrong there.

Dolce Vita Marley Wedge

Buckles, peeptoe, mixed leather, wicked wedge heel...fucking awesome. I can breathe now, I have ordered the Dolce Vita Marley wedges I have been daydreaming about all week. These babies caught my eye last weekend at the mall and I walked around in them for 15 minutes then came and walked in them again before leaving the mall. Then I noticed a huge notch in the heel and almost had a melt down in front of the entire department store until my lovely saleswoman offered to order me a brand new size 6 to be dropped of at my front door. Of course I said yes. I can't wait for those little darlings to arrive so I can plant my feet into their leathery goodness and prance around town in them.

Icey weather, gray sky..just because the sun is in hiding doesn't mean we have to. Why does everyone hole up in the house when its cold out? I mean, a high of 45 and some wind is pretty chilly for us Floridians, but theres just something about winter and the dull colors of the season that attracts me. There doesn't always have to be bright colors and warmth for there to be beauty. Guess I try to seek out beauty in places people normally don't see it.

Family visits, home cookin', spending christmas money, witnessing new 3D movies, dad's birthday, boyfriend's birthday....wooo I finally get to sit down. The last 2 weeks have been just a little bit busier than usual. But I now have a chance to sit down in my comfy baggy jammies and start the new year off in total comfort. I'll run you through a quick breakdown of my holiday. Christmas was a nice family day, loved seeing everyone. Me and the boyfriend went to see the new 3D movie Avatar which I really loved surprisingly. GO SEE IT. Got plenty of $$ and gift cards. My new years was simple and subtle. Me and the boyfriend went out for a few hours and came home to watch the ball drop and see Travis Pastrana fly his Subaru. Simply perfect. Hope everyone had a great time bringing in the new year.

What better way to spend a cool evening than at the park. The air was so crisp and pure, there was no way we were going to stay inside. The cool weather finally allows me to layer some of my clothes, making me a very happy girl. I love pairing this plaid shirt from zara with my studded mini skirt. It's a good shirt to break up all the black. And this Christmas bow ring I just adore. Everywhere I go, people want to touch it and stare at it with amazement at the engineering that went into making this little present topper. The more I look at it though, I'm not sure if it looks more like a bow or one of those spiked balls used for torture in the midieval times. Hmm, oh well, good touch for the holidays.

I just bought this dress from Zara about two weeks ago and I think I've worn it a hundred times! Everything about it makes me want 3 more. It's not often that you see an article of clothing with a newsprint type of pattern that actually looks good, but pair it with the silky soft texture and the sloppy fit with a belt and viola! Perfection. I love all of the little words and picture on it, thats what really makes the dress. Random words like jewelry, beauty, mode, and style make you feel so chic along with pictures of sunglasses, skyscrapers and faces. Love at first sight.

So yes, I cut my hair off and I love it. It was getting way to long before so I was due for something new. I've had this cut before but with white blonde color and it really is my favorite hairstyle. In about a month the color should be different too. By the way, I change my hair quite often. Change is good!

Do you ever get stuck on a certain color that your love for a while and everytime you walk into a shop, you seem to go straight to that color on the racks? Well it happens to me quite often, and right now my favorite color Im obsessing over is dusty pink. I don't like to wear anything really pink pink, but this dusty pink is like a muted hue of the girly color with a slight undertone of beige. I love to pair up this color with a black leather jacket or studs, mixing the girliness with a tough chick item. It's the perfect color concoction!

So this weekend finally got somewhat cold. Well, cold for Florida. Friday I was planning on going downtown to the Winter Wonderland where they bring in 40 tons of snow for us Floridians to play in, but then it rained cats and dogs so they made a rain check for this Friday. Cant wait! It should be interesting.

So these are the Dolce Vita boots I bought on Black Friday and I am so in love. I can't get enough studs. Oh and I bought this brown leather bad from Zara on Saturday, I couldn't resist, It's so cute!

Ok, tomorrow's Tuesday, so lets make this week fly. Not sure how to do that but I think I have to stop anticipating the weekend so much.

Tomorrow's Friday! Thank God. I am ready for the weekend, even though I just had a four day weekend which I was very thankful for. How did everyone manage on black friday? I didn't come home with much, just a fabulous pair of dolce vita boots I'll be showing you soon and a super chic dress from Zara.

But this is what I wore today at work and I wanted to show you guys. I can't go picture taking through the week because as soon as I get home from work, the sun has already set out of sight, leaving me in the dark. Soo I had to settle with some indoor photos (boring, I know).

Well I hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving. I mean, I think we can all agree that it's a pretty boring holiday once the family celebration starts to die down, nothing is open so you're pretty much forced to just sit at home and relax. But I rekcon it works out pretty good because one day of rest and relaxation is just what one needs before black friday. Which is exactly what Im waking up for tomorrow and I will admit Im pretty anxious to get into shopping mode. Im ready to shop till I drop.

Aynway, so we didn't have a huge get together for the holiday, just a few people. Once they left, the sun was preparing to hide for the night and the temperature was droping so I told the boyfriend to grab the camera. This is what I wore all day, comfortable to wear around the house and entertain guests.

Theres something about chunky sweaters I just never get tired of. You can dress them up or down and they're oh so cozzy!

Well I was planning on havin a fun filled weekend of photography and style for the new blog because I'm anxious to give you what you want of course, but unfortunetly Saturday night my dog was having what looked like a stroke or seizure but after taking him to the animal ER we found out he has what's called geriatric vestibular disease. It affects his vestibular nerve in his head which screws up his balance, so he pretty much had a bad case of vertigo. But luckily he's doing muuuch better now.

Anyway, so I was nursing my boy all weekend and I do appologize for not getting up some more fun stuff. But don't fret, this week will be fun. And it's only a 3 day week, thank God! I can so use a 4 day weekend right now, how bout you guys?

So I have been searching and searching for that perfect boyfriend blazer and they all just seemed to be a little to bulky for my smaller frame and I was beginning to lose all hope, and then I cam across this baby. Its got just the right amount of shoulder padding for the new popular trend I love oh so much. I found it at Nordstrom, it's made by Hinge and I absolutly could not leave to store without it. Anyway this is what I wore on Sunday, pretty lazy day. Me and the boyfriend just walked around Main Street and had some Starbucks while we people watched. Nothing better than a relaxing day outside.

Hi! Thanks so much for taking a look at my blog. I have been following a lot of amazing blogs about style and fashion and so many have influenced me to start my own.

I may not be in the fashion industry, but I am very dedicated to following the trends and happenings in the fashion world. I have learned so much and found out so much about myself and what I like the most by seeing what others all over the world do with the things in their closet and that is what I hope to do on this blog. I understand that it can be hard and sometimes frustrating starting from the bottom and finding out what your style is and I hope to be able to make it easier and fun to get style influence. And for those that have already found their style, it's always fun to see what other wear and get new ideas.

Since you don't know anything about me yet, I'll share a little bit about myself. I am 20 years old and I live in Safety Harbor, Florida. I was born and raised here and I am pretty fond of my city. I am surrounded by the beautiful blue waters of Tampa Bay and live about 15 minutes from the beach. There is plenty of great shopping around me which is a great amenity for living here. I would consider my style pretty eclectic. I like to follow trends but I only stick to the ones that suit my body, and that is my recommendation to everyone. But I always remind myself it is important to wear what you like, even if it was last winter trend. I believe one should wear what makes them feel most confident.

There is one more thing I would like to share with everyone, and that is my favorite quote by Coco Chanel...
“Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.”
She could not have said this any better! I do believe there is an artistic way to look at anything and a way to include those elements into style and art.

I know this is just the beginning but I hope that you stick with me through all of my ideas and inspiration to all of you.
